Star filters create eye catching starlike patterns from brilliant points of light. The brighter and smaller the light source in the scene or subject, the greater and sharper the light scattering effect will be. The darker the background, the crisp and brighter the stareffect is. They add to the artistic and decorative effects of night-litted scenes, stage light decorations, sunrise,sunset, reflection on jewellery, sunlight or water and subjects showing specular highlights. Depending on the pattern you can produce stars of 2,4,6 or 8 Flares. The number of flares can be increased by combining 2 star filters, although diffusion will be more noticeable. |
